When Rob Pennington (Endpoint, By The Grace Of God, Black Cross, Black God) left the weird little island of Louisville, KY, for a new job in Charlotte, NC, he thought that he would also be leaving music and his punk community behind. Their sound, an amalgamation of their experiences growing up in four different scenes, is reminiscent of spirited, mid-’80s punk and hardcore. Pennington’s lyrics are both personal and political, consistent with the Jupiter-sized intention behind the music
